Sorry but I couldn't resist that.

Anyway, my name is Peter Findlay and I'm a freelance Storyteller, poet, author, educator and father of two very lively boys. On Friday July the 25th I became part of a misadventure story when my cargo-bike slipped on gravel snapping off the top of my left femur before I even hit the ground! I am now home after surgery to fit a dynamic hip-screw and the slow road to walking tall again has begun.

This is where I'm asking for your help. I will not be able to work for the next two months, at least, which will mean a loss in freelance income and I will need to be paying for private Physiotherapy, massage and other therapies to get back into the saddle in all senses of the word.

My creativity and humour has not deserted me at this time and I am writing a book of short stories entitled: Drawing Out whilst I convalesce. This collection that blends sci-fi, autobiography, fantasy, poetry and visual art will be made available to all donators free-of-charge with extra copies produced for the merch store.
