Dance Team Dreams: Dlisa Needs Your Help

My name is Latoya and I’m a proud parent raising an incredible young girl, who has always wanted to be on the dance team in highschool. She has earned a spot on her high school’s varsity dance team—a huge achievement for any teen, but especially for my daughter who navigates the world with selective mutism. This condition makes it hard for her to speak in certain situations, and I believe dancing at this level will help increase her confidence.

Dlisa has danced at home for years, pouring her heart into every move, and she’s also cheered on a local team. Now, her dream of performing with the varsity dance team is coming true, but we need help to cover the cost of her uniforms which is $1,400.00. As a family, we’re doing our best, but we're not expecting the uniforms to be so expensive as current challenges make it tough to afford this expense. We are asking for your donation.
