Jackie's Story

Jackie is a beloved dance instructor, daughter, wife, friend, and sister who has dedicated her life to sharing the joy of movement. For more than two years, she has been courageously battling colon cancer. Despite the pain and challenges she faces daily, Jackie still finds the strength to do what she loves most: teaching dance and inspiring her students. Her spirit is remarkable. Jackie sees the good in life, in people, and especially in her students, who adore her for her kindness, positivity, and passion. Even on her hardest days, she does her best to show up and keep moving forward.

But this journey has not been easy. Many of the new treatments that could help Jackie are not covered by insurance. On top of that, she endures unbearable pain on certain days. She draws strength from the constant care and devotion of her husband, her primary caregiver, and the unwavering love and support of her family. This fundraiser is to help Jackie cover the many expenses that insurance will not: treatments, medications, and everyday care that give her a fighting chance and help ease the heavy financial burden.
