We’re Team Shakthi — a group of passionate, hardworking teens who’ve grown up training in Indian classical and semi-classical dance. For most of us, dance isn’t just a hobby — it’s how we express our emotions, connect with our culture, and support each other as a team.

And now… something big is happening.

We’ve been invited to perform at Carnegie Hall in January 2026 — yes, the Carnegie Hall in New York City. It’s one of the most famous stages in the world, and the fact that we were selected is honestly still sinking in. Performing there would be a dream — not just for us as dancers, but as young artists sharing stories from our heritage on a global stage.

Why We Need Your Help:

This opportunity comes with a big cost. Between the $9,900 performance fee, hotel, food, and travel, we’re looking at a pretty big number — and as students, we can’t cover it alone.

We’re doing everything we can: selling tickets, organizing a local fundraiser, and even planning a group performance to raise money. But we still need your help to get the rest of the way there.

• Our Carnegie Hall performance fee

• Hotel and food for the weekend

• A matching costume so we look like the strong, united team we are

• Travel and rehearsal costs

• Extra support for teammates who are fundraising on their own
