Hello, our names are Bob and Sarah Glende and we are raising money to help our dear sister-in-law Dina Glende. She, with her family by her side every step of the way, has spent the last 10 years searching for answers to her mysterious, on going, debilitating health condition. During their quest for answers through multiple diagnosis's, Dina's symptoms have continued to change, sending her down new and unchartered paths. Undeterred by the many dead end roads, Dina has taken what she has learned and chartered new courses for herself, determined to re-gain her health. Each time setting goals for herself. The victory of being able to dance at her children's weddings brought her great joy and peace and the willingness to continue the fight.

Her most recent quest for answers has lead her to a wonderful team of doctors through the University of Michigan. Although finding answers can be painful and scary, Dina, along with her family, has come to the realization that the unknown is just unacceptable. Having found the correct path after 10 grueling years, their lives have been changed forever. In the blink of an eye, with no u-turns in sight, Dina and family received word that she suffers from the unrelenting disease known as ALS (Lou Gehrigs disease). Although their is no cure and time is her new MYSTERY, we have vowed to do what ever we can as a family to help her live the most beautiful and comfortable life.

Despite her daunting reality, Dina has set her sights on new goals. As a soon to be a first time Grandmother in July, Dina hopes to dance in celebration of her new granddaughter. As a family who loves Dina, Brad and their children, we have vowed to do what ever we can to help her live the most beautiful and comfortable life.
