Hi, thank you for taking the time to read this. My name is Dana. I'm 25, and my body is covered in tumors.
When I was eighteen, I got diagnosed with a rare vascular condition. After spending years in and out of hospitals, I enjoyed a few years of remission.
Recently, I found myself needing one last treatment, so I went back and had several scans and a very painful medical procedure done on my head. Unfortunately, all the money that was initially for college has already been spent on this condition, as well as the bulk of my savings. And while I am fortunate enough to have great insurance, I work with special needs students through a public school system, which is more of a labor of love and doesn't have a lot of monetary rewards. For me, this will take years to pay off, even if I set aside a notable portion of my check every month.
I've never been very good at asking for help, but I'm in a real financial bind. If you can help me at all, I would truly appreciate it.
Have a wonderful day,
Dana
