Dana's Support Fund

Dear friends,
You all know the tragic circumstances that have befallen Dana with the near-simultaneous deaths of his sister, Diane, and mother, Dorothy. What you may not be aware of is the financial burden he now has to carry. His mother's estate consists mostly of just her home in Charleston with very little savings. Ideally, Dana wants to keep the home should he be able to secure the financing. But in the meantime, he needs to cover the homeowners insurance, property taxes, and a loan for bathroom renovations that he took out to make them more accessible for Diane and his mom.
Now that his mother’s social security and other limited sources of income have ceased, meeting these financial demands is extremely challenging on his sole salary. And it's a salary that is likely to end in April 2020 after his company is sold. So I'm asking you to contribute whatever you can to help offset these costs. Because Dana now lives hundreds of miles from most of us, it's hard to provide the personal support we would prefer, but financial contributions are one impactful way we can still help. They won't ease the grief, but they'll help ease the stress of getting through the grief.
He doesn't know I'm asking for your help, but after visiting him in Charleston and assessing the situation in person, I know it's the right way to express our love and support.
I want to present him with our fund by Friday, December 6. Please give as you are able. Our gift to him will have a life-preserving and life-changing effect.
