Dana's Fight With Cancer
Donation protected
For those of you that have the pleasure of knowing the Stabile Family, you also know that Dana, the mother of two wonderful boys and wife of an amazing man, has been recently diagnosed with Ductual Carcinoma in situ (DCIS).
She recently went through a double mastectomy with reconstructive surgery. Pathology has since come back showing 5 small invasive tumors which has changed her diagnosis to IDC, aka Infilirating Ductal Carcinoma. This cancer began growing in a milk duct and has invaded the fibrous or fatty tissue of the breast outside of the duct. Stage 1 at grade 3 and is very aggressive. It is also estrogen and progestin positive. HER 2+.
Dana is currently going through Chemo treatments weekly for the next 12 weeks and herceptin every 3 weeks for a year.
The strong character she has displayed has set a fine example for others. Her courage and determination is an inspiration to all. Watching such an amazing family go through such a hard time make us want to help in any way that we can!
Dana is not able to work at this time and her amazing husband has since been laid off for the winter.
If we could all donate our love, support, prayers and if possible help lift the weight of some financial strain, the Stabile family would be eternally grateful. Let's ease the pain a little and let the family focus on what is most important, healing.
No amount is too small and if you are unable to donate, please send your well wishes and share this page.
