Dana Zernechel Medical Expense Donation

Anyone who knows Dana can attest to the fact that the girl has a heart of gold. She's cared for countless grandparents/relatives of ours at the nursing home, knits a baby blanket for every new mom she meets, and is known to randomly drops off meals or fresh baked cookies to your door to brighten your day.

Unfortunately, our friend has recently come up on hard times due to medical complications. What started out as a suspected gallstone has escalated into pancreatitis and ruptured bowel, she remains hospitalized at Avera McKennan. Currently has NG placed while her healing is closely monitored, staff expect to have a PICC line placed and TPN initiated tomorrow. Between addressing current issues, follow up procedures, impending surgery + recovery time Dana will be unable to resume her role as a nurse for the next few months. This is daunting for anyone, let alone a single Mom also facing down hefty medical bills.
