DANA Valencia - Recover the music!

DE: Mein Name ist Bernd, bin Deutscher und wohne in Valencia, Spanien. Gottseidank wurden wir von der Überschwemmung verschont.

Eines der Epizentren ist Alfafar. Dort spiele ich (hoffenlich bald wieder) den Kontrabass in einem Orchester von Zupfinstrumenten. Fast alle wohnen auch dort. Der Pegel erreichte etwa 1,50 m, so dass die Parterrewohnungen von fünf Musikern mit dem Schlamm vollliefen. Wir möchten nun ein wenig dazu beitragen, dass sie bald ihr zu Hause zurück haben. Das eingehende Geld wird gleichmäßig auf die fünf Meistgeschädigten verteilt und die Verwendung des transparent dokumentiert.

Abgesehen von der Katastrophe, ich möchte diesem Orchester auch gerne deshalb ein wenig zurück geben, weil einige der Musiker mir sehr nahe sind und dazu beitragen, dass ich mich in Valencia sehr wohl fühle.

EN: My name is Bernd, I'm German and I live in Valencia, Spain. Luckily we were spared from the floods.

One of the epicenters is Alfafar. I play double bass in an orchestra of plucked instruments there (hopefully soon again). Almost all of the musicians live there. The water level reached about 1.50 m, so the first floor apartments of five musicians were flooded with mud. We want to do our part to help them get their homes back as soon as possible. The money received will be divided equally among the five most affected people and the use of the money will be documented transparently.

Apart from the disaster, I would also like to give something back to this orchestra, because some of the musicians are very dear to me and make me feel very much at home in Valencia.

Uno de los epicentros de la catástrofe es Alfafar. Ahí toco el contrabajo ( ojala lo pueda reanudar pronto) en una orquesta de pulso y púa. Casi todos los miembros viven ahí. El nivel alcanzó un metro y medio, de modo que las viviendas en la planta baja de cinco de los músicos están llenos de barro. Deseo contribuir para que puedan regresar pronto a casa. El dinero recaudado será repartido inmediatamente a los cinco afectados y esto se documentará.

A parte de la catástrofe quisiera aportarles algo en agradecimiento ya que ellos han contribuido a que me siente bien en esta ciudad.
