dana goes back to oregon

as you may well know, i left oregon at the end of 2021 to try and start a new journey in seattle. as it turns out, moving with a toxic ex is not best idea!

 

after thinking going back to grocery was a good idea, i quit my job and found a new one. then i was let go for not being a good "culture fit." on the same day, i tested positive for covid. when i was healthy again and ready to restart my life, my ex kicked me out and i left. i own up to the reasons our relationship had ended 9 months earlier and my behavior leading up to this final end. the bandaid has been ripped off, and i am ready to find my own self again.

 

i have decided to return to oregon. for now, i am in texas under the umbrella of love that is my sister. to return, i require a plane ticket, baggage fees, and temporary housing. in the meantime i can find a new job and figure out how to get my cat and belongings back down from seattle.

 

this is a hard decision for me, but an exciting one. portland may not be permanent, but it is my home and community. thanks for your consideration as i reclaim my life.
