Dana Galli was 26 years young when she suddenly passed away on Saturday November 5, 2016.  Dana was a vibrant, young, beautiful girl that brought much joy to those lives she touched.  Her smile lit up the room when she walked in.  Dana was born and raised in Darby and then moved to Ridley where graduated from Ridley High School in 2009.

Dana was the pride and joy of her mother, Kathy Galli- Beinlich and her father Brian Kravec.

 Dana touched many lives – both within her family and her friends as well as many young children she loved and adored.  Babysitting was her favorite pastime as she took care of many children of her relatives and friends on a continual basis. Dana’s love for children is evident by the love they returned to her.  Just 10 days before she passed, she came home to a note on her wall written by one of her “kids” that said “I love you Dana, you are the BEST babysitter ever!”  






A parent should never have to bury a child.  It’s just not a part of the circle of life that we are used to…and when that circle is broken, and we lose a child, we are never quite the same and we are never prepared…never. 

Dana’s family needs our help to give her a peaceful resting place among the angels, so she can continue to look down upon us, with that infectious smile and watch over us as our guardian angel.

Any amount you can give would be greatly appreciated by her mom, dad and family.

My Dearest Family and Friends

Some things I'd like to say, but first of all to let you know
that I arrived okay.

I'm writing this from heaven where I dwell with God above...

Where there's no more tears of sadness there is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight,
remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.

That day I had to leave you when my life on Earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said "I welcome you."

I will be beside you every day and week and year,
and when you're sad I'm standing there to wipe away the tear.

When you think of my life on Earth and all those loving years,
because you're only human they're bound to bring you tears.

But do not be afraid to cry, it does relieve the pain, remember there
would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

There are rocky roads ahead of you, and many hills to climb,
but together we can do it taking one day at a time.

So when you're walking down the street and you've got me on your mind,
I'm walking in your footsteps, only half a step behind.

And when you feel the gentle breeze of the wind upon your face,
that's me giving you a great big hug or just a soft embrace.

And when it's time for you to go from the body to be free,
remember you're not going, you are coming here to me!

And I will always love you from that land way up above.
