Dan Walters’ Médical and Living Expenses

Dan's immediate family is seeking contributions to a GoFundMe campaign to assist with the expenses related to his medical bills. Dan's life changed dramatically at 15 when he was hit by a drunk driver, causing lasting injuries to his right side. These injuries include a severe limp, partial closure of his right eye, limited use of his right hand, and a decline in memory due to head trauma. Now, 45 years later, these injuries continue to impact his daily life, making it challenging to save for retirement and pursue higher-paying jobs.

Financial constraints prevented Dan from seeking necessary medical and dental care, leading to a severe mouth infection and subsequent tooth loss. Unfortunately, the infection spread to his already affected right knee, further complicating his condition. Dan has been hospitalized since Monday, March 4th, undergoing knee surgery to address the infection and will require extensive physical therapy.
