Hello,

As you may know the Valkenier family lost their little brother Dan suddenly on May 12th. He was found by his nephew which is heartbreaking. The family is in shock and having a really hard time. Dan was on EI due to medical reasons which means there is no coverage.

We wanted to set up this fundraiser to help with the cost of his celebration of life, and expenses that the family will incur, like taking care of his dog, Emmett. Anything you can donate would be helpful, and I know that this will help to relieve some stress to the family, and let the grieving process begin. The average cost of a service in BC is around $10,000 so we thought we would start there. Anything over that will go to the family for other expenses.
