Dan the Treat Man & His Dog Buddy

Thank you for clicking and looking at our GoFundMe! My name is Danielle and I am raising funds for Dan, whom is a dog walker in Halifax, Nova Scotia that cares for a crazy group of dogs by taking them for pact walks. Hardly missing a day and always walking them on holidays even.

Dan takes such good care of all our pups, making treats every morning for them, that when his own has become ill, we want to step up and offer some help. His dog Buddy has unfortunately had emergency surgery for herniated colon on both sides of his buttocks, causing him to be unable to poop. He has had the surgery to correct one side and is now experiencing incontinence along with a lot of pain. They are planning on operating the next side as soon as it is safe to do so.

Dan is self employed and the cost of everything is so high, and not getting any cheaper. The funds we are raising is to help cover the initial surgery, along with provide some funds for the next surgery and recovery.

Dan has spent the time to work with my pup Pico, whom struggles with reactivity however Pico was never judged in his group of dog friends. When dropping Pico off if I wasn't home checking to ensure he has water. When Pico lost his Tractive in Long Lake, Dan spent an hour in the piss pour rain looking for it, even though it was green and he is color blind.
