On Christmas Eve, Kathy and Dan Squier lost their pets, their vehicles, and all material possessions in a devastating house fire. Tragically, the stress from this event caused an aneurysm to form and then burst in Dan's brain, and he died on Christmas Day. To compound an already unimaginable situation, Dan did not have life insurance.

As hardworking farmers, and just plain good people, Kathy and Dan have consistently given back to the community around them, whether it's helping various charities, or establishing a scholarship at Elk Lake School District in their son's name. They've always displayed kindness and a willingness to help others, and now, in this time of great need, it's time to show Kathy that she's not alone.
