Dan and Kathy Samuels Kidney Relief

Dear friends and family,
As you may or may not know, my dad, Dan Samuels, has been battling polycystic kidney disease for the past 9 years. Many of you may be familiar with our Facebook campaign to find him a living donor kidney. We have been on the hunt to find someone with O-type blood to be a living donor for some time now. Although our search is ongoing, Dan has now taken the first steps to beginning peritoneal dialysis treatments. His port was placed on June 5, 2018. While his at-home treatments will provide a higher quality of life than in-hospital treatments would, he is currently unable to work, and has been unable to work at full capacity for quite awhile now. The date which he will be allowed back to work is undetermined as of now.
This leaves my mom, Kathy, as the sole source of income for my parents. I want to be clear; we do not now, nor will we ever need money for medical purposes. Dan is FULLY COVERED under his VA healthcare. What I am humbly asking for from you all, is a way to lift the financial burden off my mom's shoulders at this time. My hope is to help her make at least one house payment of $1,500. Anything beyond this amount will be used for additional house payments or other bills.
Of course we understand that not everyone is able to help in this way. To those of you who are, we thank you graciously from the bottom of our hearts. For those of you who aren't, we ask for your continued support as we navigate this roller coaster of life changes.
