Hi, friend. Thanks for visiting this page. I've got some bad news and some good news.

THE BAD NEWS: The time has come to replace my tour van, Van Rodriguez. I'll be rolling over 325,000 miles very soon. I bought it 6 years ago with 100k miles on it, and it's served me very well. But after 4 breakdowns this year (so far), and more and more things going wrong with it, the time has come for me to reluctantly say goodbye to my old friend.

Touring is our livelihood. As the sole income for my family of 5, I rely on my van to get me from show to show, paying my bills along the way. I've been looking for a replacement van for some time. Much of what I've found is expensive, even with high miles and rusty undercarriages, or it doesn't fit the criteria for what I need (a conversion van with passenger seats that I can convert to a solo camper van so I can save $$ on hotels). I don't want to invest in something that I'll need to replace in a few years either. That's not a wise use of resources.

THE GOOD NEWS: A very generous and kind friend has offered to match $15,000 so that we can purchase a 10-year van that will keep me on the road and going strong for countless shows to come.

This is where you come in. If 100 people donate an average of $150, we could hit the $15k match and end up with $30k to put toward a Van Rodriguez II. We realize that making this ask is HUGE, but so is our love for coming to see you, playing shows for you, and continuing to grow this legacy of art, song, and performance.
