Dan Pollocks Cancer battle

Dan pollock has been diagnosed with stage one oropharyngeal tongue cancer. He was given the devastating news at Easter time this year. Shortly after his diagnosis Dan had a partial glossectomy, which is a surgical procedure where a portion of the tongue is removed. It is a 10-14 hour surgery. His surgery failed the first time so he had to repeat the the surgery. He just finished chemotherapy but still needs radiation and speech therapy. Because of his diagnosis he is unable to work at this time. The treatments are tough enough on their own but Dan is struggling to keep up with daily living cost and medical bills. He has spent the last 38 years working in the health system helping others in need. This fundraiser is here to help relieve some of the financial burden so he can focus on his health and recovery. We understand that not everyone can contribute financially, but sharing this message would be incredibly helpful in spreading awareness. Most importantly, please pray for our dad as he continues his battle to beat cancer. We greatly appreciate anything you can do for our dad. Thank you for taking the time to read this message, Cesily & Shawna.
