Dan Mycka's family needs your help and support.

Dan fought a valiant battle with cancer and while he lost in the end, his legacy lives on in the many creative games and engaging projects throughout his long, storied career in the video game and digital therapeutic industries. He touched the lives of many people along his journey, and we are incredibly saddened by this loss.

Dan passed away March 12th surrounded by his wife and son.

Dan was diagnosed with colon cancer in early 2018, which eventually spread to his liver and lungs. In the midst of his struggles through many rounds of chemotherapy and surgeries, he developed a brain tumor and underwent radiation treatments. He was a fighter until the very end.

We will always remember Dan.

Dan’s warm personality and youthful energy was contagious. His clever wit was always punctuated by his kind smile. Every laugh was a gift. Dan was my friend, mentor and art director for almost 30 years.

Dan was the sole provider for his family and now we need your help. His family is heartbroken and facing a difficult road ahead made even more challenging while mourning the loss of a loved one.

We are raising funds to help cover the funeral costs, medical bills, ongoing mortgage payments, insurance, let’s face it the bills never stop.
