On Tuesday July 17th, my dad Dan, suffered a massive heart attack. He had briefly passed away but thanks to God and the amazing team of doctors at Fairview Ridges, they were able to start his heart again. He was transferred to Fairview Southdale where he had a stent put into his Artery that was 100% blocked. A balloon was also put into his heart to rest his heart. On Wednesday the 18th of July, he had the balloon removed and his heart was functioning very well on his own. He was discharged from the hospital on Friday July 20th. We are so thankful that he is still with us. It is truly a miracle. He has a long road ahead of him with a lot of major changes to his diet, exercise, work, etc. Lots of restrictions. Unfortunately, part of the long road ahead includes the medical bills that are going to start piling up. It's going to be a lot for someone who has restrictions with work. If you know my dad, you know that he would give you the shirt off of his back. The last penny he had. Anything you need. He is the most selfless and kind man I've ever known. He would never ask for a thing. As his kids, it is our duty to try anything we can to help him through this difficult time. Anything than anyone can do or contribute is very much appreciated.
