My Uncle, Dan Meracle, sustained a horrific injury just over three months ago. He suffered a life-altering dog bite to his face resulting in the loss of his nose. Dan has completed the first two of multiple/indefinite reconstructive skin graph surgeries to his nose. It will be at least another year of additional surgeries, the third of which is scheduled for next week. The main goal is to give him a nose that looks and functions properly.  This has been an extremely traumatic physical injury as well as a mental and emotional experience that has just begun. It has affected his ability to work and he has been out for 2 months  now. 

I am creating this GOFUNDME page to ask for HELP! Donations will help offset his lost wages and monthly expenses. He has been unable to return to work because of the short time span necessary between the first two major surgeries and due to the importance of a very sterile environment for this type of injury/recovery.  Dan is eager to resume normal life, but with many surgeries and a very slow healing process, it is going to take some time.  I thank you in advance for your help… no donation is too small and anything/everything is appreciated!  Thoughts and prayers for his healing are also welcomed!
