Dan Longo Medical Bill Relief

This is most certainly, and hopefully obviously, the last thing anyone wants to do, but when you have nowhere else to turn, it seems like this is where you end up. I am writing this (with Dan’s girlfriend Lexi) on behalf of my best friend Dan in hopes that I can help find him some relief.

At the beginning of this year, Dan had his first hospitalization that lead to what seems like a long road to finding answers. Although not 100% certain, Dan was told then he could have Crohn’s disease. After several more visits to the ER for excruciating abdominal pain and extreme unintentional weight loss, a CAT scan revealed an intussusception and what appeared to be a mass in his intestine. His most recent test results to determine what to do next are not in yet, but there will undoubtedly be several more appointments and potential ER visits with his symptoms being unmanaged thus far.

As if all of this isn’t already awful and stressful enough, Dan is uninsured and the medical bills have already started to come in. On top of that, he hasn’t been able to work much because of the amount of pain he is in.

Dan is an amazing person who does anything and everything he can for his friends and family, and I am hoping to find people who will do the same for him. I know everyone is going through their own shit right now, but if you have anything to spare or could share this post, I know Dan would appreciate it more than I do.

One last thing Lexi and I ask is to refrain from bombarding Dan’s inboxes with messages/questions, as he would have preferred to keep all of this private in the first place. Sending love is welcomed.
