Dan Hoyt fights Leukemia

I am Dan and Dawn's daughter, Sara. Many of you know that my father was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia about a month ago. This is a very aggressive cancer. My father will be in the hospital, unable to work, for at least another month with chemo treatments and will definitely need a bone marrow transplant. They have a very long road ahead of them.

Many of you have reached out asking how you can be a help to them. After talking with them they have humbly decided that it would be ok for me to start this fundraiser for them. Any money donated will go towards expenses my mom is incurring with all the travel she is doing back and forth from their home and Iowa City. They wanted me to also state that any extra money that is raised that they don't use will be donated to Leukemia Research.

Please continue to pray for our family. This last year has been difficult for everyone. I pray that we would see God's hand in this and that we will humbly come before Him and ask him to heal my father. Please pray for wisdom for the doctor's and staff as they tend to my father. Please pray for strength and wisdom as my parents try to navigate through this trial. We are so very thankful that God gives us friends and family that can be used of him and be a blessing to each other. Thank you for all of your support for our family. I know my parents are extremely grateful.
