Please help our Dan Gordon’s team members

 For the last 4 years the heart and soul of Dan Gordon’s has been our team members.

From Victor our sous chef, Juana our star server assistant, to Dan and John the longtime bartenders. Their dedication and personal touches made Dan Gordon’s sing.

Like many other restaurants, COVID-19 shelter in place order rendered our small business to close.

We tried for several weeks to keep part of our staff employed through pick up & delivery, but mounting costs and liabilities to the staff and business gave us the very difficult but best option to permanently close.

Our landlords have been very gracious to work with us as we attempt to potentially re-brand the store. Unfortunately, we have no current revenue to generate support for our beloved team and our cash reserves.

Our team is now out of work and with our other two stores closed, we simply have no resources for them in these uncertain times.

While the team has filed for unemployment to cover their income, they are coming up short for groceries, rent, and taking care of their families. Many of our staff live paycheck to paycheck and that paycheck is gone. We held a large staff free farmer’s market to hand out the remaining food we had, but sadly, that is the end of our resources. Many tears were shed that day knowing, those bags of groceries, while all we could do, would only go so far for our team.

Today, we are humbled to say we need your help.

We are starting this Go Fund Me to help get this team, we love, get support while they get started.

We realize this is an extremely difficult time for us all. Anything you can give, if even a great memory or kind thought, will help in these difficult times. Sharing this campaign, whether you contribute or not will help in potentially tremendous ways.

If you are a fan, shared a special moment here, or are just a great person who wants to help, please help us reach our goal. 100% of the fund raised will go equally to all our staff. From the cooks, dishwashers, bussers, hosts, servers and bartender all will are included.

Stanford School of Business F.O.A.M night has been generous in purchasing some of our inventory to kick off this fund. We thank them with much gratitude.
