We lost our best friend Dan way too soon. He went out Dans way after watching Super Cross with his buddies, getting a back rub from his wife Sandy while being near her side. He loved his family, his friends, dirt bike riding and especially making trails. He was a Champion in Baja, District 37, Big 6, and many others. He was a man among men, had calves the size of 6 x 12's and hands that served as bowls. He was a freak on a dirt bike and even funner on a tractor. He was strong, stubborn, humerous, simple, and always there. He gave 100% especially when others couldnt. He loved Jack Daniels, and even more good Scotch. When things got knarly we would call on Dan to lead. With his slogan "looks good to me" we would follow and well, we are here. We called Dan "Paws" because of the enormity of his hands but more because we were in his hands. He was our "pawtriarch". Obviously, there was no way to prepare for this, no warning, no warm up, just full throttle dead engine start and the family could use your support. Dan would never ask, but we can for him.
