Most know that 8 years ago Dan had to have 2 of his heart valves replaced. It was rough, and a long recovery, but successful. Five years ago Dan suffered a cardiac arrest, thankfully with Jenny doing CPR , amazing Emt’s and a defibrillator Dan recovered .
 
The past few years have been uneventful, thankfully. The past 1.5 years Jenny, Dan and their 3 kids have been exploring all that their new home in Montana has had to offer.
 
The weekend of June 19th Dan abruptly became extremely ill. By the 20th, he was transferred to Billings courtesy of the Bozeman Life flight.
 
After many tests, it was finally confirmed that Dan’s 2 animal valves were failing, most likely due to an infection that went to his heart. This was Monday. Needing to get the infection under control, they finally were able to do open heart surgery on Th to replace the 2 valves. It has not been smooth sailing yet.
 
This is extremely trying on Dan’s body, and he is still in ICU on the ventilator. He is in great hands as they approach every setback head on. Jenny has been staying in Billings, and making the 4 hour round trip to Bozeman to see kids etc.  Jenny’s parents have both been in Montana helping.
 
So, as of now Dan and Jenny are in need of some help. As of now we don’t know how long Dan will be in ICU. He currently does not have disability, and is looking at a minimum of 6-8 weeks after that until he can return to work.
 
I am reaching out because I know that these medical bills are going to be monstrous and overwhelming. A large amount of their lives the past 8 years have been finally paying off previous medical bills. Jenny who worked full time in Mn is not working in Montana, and it will not be an option for a long time as well.
 
All of the focus needs to be on Dan’s recovery, Jenny’s strength, getting Alec off to Montana State in August, and helping summer feel like a summer for Finn and McKenna.
 
So, if you wish to help the Conroy’s with these approaching medical bills, it would be amazing. I’m not setting a goal, just grateful for anything to try and help their journey!
