Dan Collins, Sketchy Beats Driver and Sad Song Club Host

We’re so grateful to everyone who contributed their talents, energy and helping hands to our stage at Kelburn Garden Party. It was an honour to share the festival with you!

This year, Sketchy Beats rented a van to transport our equipment from Leith to Largs. Unfortunately, along the way, the van sustained some minor damage (a small scratch and dent) and the rental company have charged our driver Dan an excessive repair fee of £690.

Dan was not just our van driver; he also opened the stage each day, melting away our morning blues with his masterful hosting of the Sad Song Club. Our small festival budget has all been used up and it would be tragic if he had to pay this fee out of his own pocket.

We know it’s a big ask, as you’ve already contributed to the stage by being there. But if you could spare a few pounds to help soften the blow on Dan's finances, it would make such a difference. Donations from bands and individuals, however small, are all greatly appreciated!

If you weren’t at the festival but have ever met Dan at the Sad Song Club or another one of his creative ventures, then please consider sparing a couple of rubles to help him out.
