Dan & Candice Spratling House Fire Fundraiser

Hi, I’m the direct and thankful neighbor to Dan, Candice, their 3 kids (ages 6, 4, and 10 months) and their family dog who were all unharmed in a house fire on 12/5/23.

We want to start off by thanking our amazing community for the outpouring of love, concern, and support for the Spratling family in this unprecedented time.

A pretty significant internal house fire has displaced our beloved neighbor family until probably March of 2024. The kitchen fire broke out when no one was home and their dog was able to escape through the doggie door and he was found safe!

We are so grateful for the speedy fire crew that extinguished the flames before it was able to spread. Unfortunately, all was lost inside the home due to smoke, fumes, asbestos, and water damage. But it is such a blessing to have no one harmed.

With an extraordinary story of their courage, and supportive friends the family has a home to stay in until Christmas Eve, as they go to work on clean up hoping to salvage any precious momentos.

Prayers are needed for wisdom of how to proceed, and homes to stay in past Christmas Eve. If you may not be able to give financially at this time, but have a need of house sitters for a few months or if you might have home goods that can be donated in early 2024, please message.

This family needs a large influx of cash post haste as you can imagine replacing all their belongings and being displaced. They are very a hardworking family in the community.  They are always giving and supporting and their children bring such joy to our neighborhood!

I know we all want them home ASAP, the neighborhood is absolutely not the same without them, so it would be amazing to get them home in the most practical way showering them with love through financial support. Thank you and wishing you and your family the warmest holidays ahead!
