My Dad, Dan Burke passed away yesterday at age 73 .
this is a hard thing for me to do, but I really do need your help.
Im raising money to help pay for my dads funeral , Unfortunately he didn't have time to take care of the final details . it was in discussion but then got really sick suddenly, leaving us little money to pay for it... My Dad was a proud man and never let on he was financially hurting.
My Dad was a hard worker, being the oldest of 8 brothers and sisters, . He met my Mom when she was 13 and he was 15 ,.... They then had four of the best kids ever ..( yes that would be me as one of them...lol ) ..My parents would be celebrating their 55th wedding anniversary this June 1st.
My Dad loved to sing , him and his brothers and sisters would have Karaoke parties, he was a great singer , sounded a lot like George Jones.
That's one thing I truly admire is how all of his brothers and sisters and their kids all hang around each other , so close in age ., such a close family... they were not only family they are friends.
He's helped so many people , he's even giving his last dollar when needed. Dan was a man of all trades, their was nothing he couldnt do. He later had his own TV and VCR business , at age 3 he gave me a little black and white TV for christmas and I was adjusting his TV for him little did I know I would be working with him by his side for 12 years fixing TVs and VCRs, when I got older.......hes taught me so much . I ...and givin me so much... My Dad meant more to me than anything else in the world , my dad always made sure we had everything even if it meant him going without... I'm trying to raise money to give my Dad the proper burial he deserves. and help ease the fincial burden that comes with losing someone so suddenly. This memorial fund will help to take care of my Dads memorial and perhaps help establish a small nest egg for my mother..with alittle help from my friends and family I will be able to do that. every dollar helps and would be greatly appreciated.
If you could support my GoFundMe by making a donation and then sharing it with your network, I know that money can be tight, so please know that even $5 helps me get closer to my goal! Let me know if you have any questions and I’ll be happy to answer them.
