Dan "Boz" Bosley

Our beloved Dan/Dad (“Boz”) passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 28th. He was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, uncle, great uncle and friend who touched the lives of those around him. He leaves behind his wife, Laura, and his daughters, McKenna and Natalie.

Dan’s injury back in 2003 left him disabled and unable to work, but he was proud to be a Stay-at-Home Dad. From taking the girls to school every day or to the drive-thru at McDonald’s or Taco Bell, Dan was always happy to run them anywhere they asked. With every trip giving driving tips to not only to McKenna, but Natalie as well. “Driving Tip #4,895……..” was always followed by a chuckle. Spending time with his family was all Dan ever wanted. Every Saturday night during the winter months, you would find Dan standing on the side in many gymnasiums watching his girls spinning with Gates Chili Winterguard.

Dan and I had a special bond, one that would never be broken. Together for over 22 years if you saw one of us, the other was somewhere nearby. Prior to 2020, when I worked in the office, you would find him randomly dropping off lunch to me because I would forget to eat. Since working from home, he still did that. Often making me mini charcuterie boards to nibble on, reminding me to eat. He was my rock as I was his. People say there is a soul mate out there for everyone, and Dan undoubtedly was mine.

Most days, you would find Dan working around the house. Putzing around in the garage, working on someone’s golf cart, or working on something on his truck. He always wanted to stay busy doing so many little projects all over the house. Until it was time to come in and make dinner because the girls would be home from school soon. Be it in the smoker, the air fryer or the instant pot, he enjoyed cooking and feeding his family.

A typical night in the house would be relaxing after dinner. Scrolling for silly TikTok videos, sharing them with us, or most recently playing MONOPOLY GO (with the volume at full blast) all while watching a favorite TV show or a movie. Waiting for what he called “sleepy night-night cozy time”.

We are all devastated by the loss of Dan and were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We want to give Dan the memorial he deserves to honor his memory and say our final goodbyes. In memory of Dan, if you would like to make donations to help cover the cost of his funeral as well as other expenses that arose from this situation, we would greatly appreciate it.

The girls and I sincerely want to thank everyone for all of the phone calls, text messages, and cards we have received. Your love and support means so much to us.

Rest well in your forever “sleepy night-night cozy time”, my love. Until we meet again….
