Dan Ampofo Boamah affectionately called Uncle Dan or Brother Dan by many, passed away on April 2nd leaving behind his wife and 3 young children.
Being one of the most sought after handymen in the NY metro area, Dan used his talent and skill to bless his community and beyond. His great attention to detail on every project big or small made him the ultimate choice for most of his clients.
As a devout Christian, Dan also spent majority of his time working for churches. Whether it was huge renovations or simple fixes, he was ever ready to lend a hand. Dan had keys to more than a dozen churches in the community and was always available to help.
Dan's sudden departure has left us in shock and disbelief but the suffering his family finds themself in is dire. As the breadwinner, the future of his 3 children is now uncertain.
On behalf of the family, we are organizing this go-fund-me to setup up a trust fund for his children. Manuel, the only son just turned 13 a day before his father's passing.
All proceeds from this fundraising will go into setting up an educational fund for his children. This fundraising is being organized by Inner Court Sanctuary (his home church) and friends. It will be managed by a board of trustees comprising of his family, closest friends and the leadership of the church.
This is a call to action for all of us to pitch in and help ease the family's anxiety during these difficult times. Let's come together and honor Dan for all the time he blessed us with his talent.
