Dan Becker Medical Fund

Sometimes life deals you an event that completely turns your world, as you knew it, upside down. That is unfortunately what has happened to Dan and Amy Becker. For those of you who didn’t hear, Dan suffered a major heart attack last Thursday that required heroic efforts of both Amy and the first responders. Complicating the cardiac conditions is the new found knowledge that he is also a diabetic. We are beyond grateful to report that Dan is now stable and working on getting strong enough to be released from the hospital, however, the hard work and financial impacts of his disability and recovery are just beginning. Unfortunately the combination of not having insurance and the fact that neither of them will be able to work for the foreseeable future, means the expenses are going to be overwhelming. Amy will be providing the necessary home care while he recovers and regains strength. Needless to say, the mounting medical bills and go-forward expenses are well outside the means that either of them can afford. Despite the emotional and financial support from family, the expense of rehabilitation, procedures, maintenance drugs and general life expenses will take a village. Dan and Amy have a long tough road ahead of them and could use all the financial assistance they can get. Any amount, regardless of how small, will make a huge difference in their lives. We thank you, in advance, for helping two of the nicest people we know.
