Dan Ashing needs our help, and he needs it now.
In May, on Mother's Day, Dan went to the emergency room for a headache that had been building for 3 weeks and wound up in intensive care following brain surgery to remove 3 of 7 tumors. Dan learned he has cancer, which started in his lungs and metastasized to his brain, pelvis and kidneys.
His most immediate need is help with rent and utilities while he undergoes chemotherapy and is unable to work.
Dan is an incredible person and a man who cares greatly for his family and his community. He’s played a key role in the construction of Boulder Valley Velodrome, in his hometown of Erie, Colorado -- his work on this special project helped create a place people enjoy daily, and he takes great pride in it.
