Paul and Dan moved here last year when they took on the royal in Thirsk. They put a lot of money into reopening it again. The pub was back to being busy and life was going great for both of them. Last week both their cars got set on fire. One of the cars insurance ran out the day before it was torched as it was being sold the very next day. The pub was also damaged by the explosions and smoke damage, and the boys have lost over £100,000. The pub cannot reopen until they have money to do this. Peoples jobs are on hold and their lives cannot go back to normal if they ever will after such a horrific incident. So I thought I’d set this up to help them get some money in to try get the pub open plus some normality in their lives, all they want is to earn money for their futures and due to this awful crime they are struggling mentally and financially.
