Hello all! My name is Ashley and I'm an old friend of Damon's. Since his passing last May, I've been wanting to do something with the help of friends for his family to give them something in his memory. If you knew Damon, you know how much he loved messing around in the woods and just being outside.. so after talking to his mom, Margie, I'm starting this gofundme in order to raise funds to place a memorial bench for him at Glade Run Lake. This lake is only a few miles from his parents house and will give them, his siblings, nieces, nephews and the rest of his family and friends a beautiful spot to sit in remembrance of him.

The bench will be placed at the cove by the boat launch. I'm exploring options for the bench itself and will update here when it's been designed. If we have any money leftover it will go directly to his parents.

If you would like to physically help install the bench (it will need to be set in cement), please let me know! I will be letting everyone know when the bench will be set as well and plan to have a get together at the lake that day as well.
