Help Damo become a Digital Animator

Hi, I'm Damo, I like to draw.

I want to start an Animation/Cartoon channel.

I need better computer equipment.

Amee, my lovely girlfriend/lifepartner/wifey/bestestfriend. Has always said that she thinks I could really make something more from my art. Not in a rich and famous way, but in a really enjoy doing art as a career type way, and using my stupid sense of humor for something productive and maybe make others laugh.

Whilst drawing is still being my favorite art medium; I also enjoyed learning painting. It has opened up more challenges of learning composition and colour theory.

After achieving Cert III in Graphic Design, I definitely saw the ... I guess Efficiency, of digital art over traditional mediums. Then after seeing so many great artists and content creators on Youtube, I really have been inspired to try and get something started for my own style, and thoughts, and humor, and even just funny stories from real life.

Being a bit, IT and electronics intolerant, trying to get started with the computer equipment I have, is a continuous hair loss journey. I've gotten great help with tech stuff from Amee's brother (Thanks Dan).

The goal is to start a Cartoon Animation Youtube channel, similar to Cyanide and Happiness, Simon's Cat, How It Should Have Ended.

The equipment I would like to get is as follows.

The portable tablet is not really a necessity as in being able to animate, but any artist will tell you, that inspiration can strike anywhere and at any time, and usually not at home. The capabilities of tablets like the iPad Pro, are so amazing where you can get an idea sketched, edited, shared and reviewed, in hardly any time at all.

I always try to involve people who support and like my art, so I will try and do a character and animation for anyone that helps. Which also saves me the hassle of thinking up new characters and stories haha...
