To My Dearest Dad...Dam Minh Huu
Where to begin...my dad wasn't anyone extraordinary. Most of my life growing up I thought he was headache for my mom and not the best father material. But for those whom have known my dad have seen him as a good friend and as savior in times of need. He was the type of friend you can call out in the middle of the night and he would come bring a pack of beer to talk to you. My dad was a very hard worker and he would work almost everyday.
My dad was not a man of loving words to his wife or daughter. However, he showed it through his actions.
It hurts me so much to find out Sunday morning, when I heard a knock on my door that the police had informed me that my dad has been murdered. Being the only child to bear this news, while my mom is away in Vietnam, I was devastated. Emotionally torn. Sadness steeps inside me. My dad who was just talking to me a couple days ago is now gone. He was living his life as if he'll age into an old man. My dad didn't even get a chance to age into an old man. He hasn't even had a chance to walk me down the Wedding aisle. He still had so much to live for....
Because of his sudden death. My family is hoping to get help for those who can assist us in the funeral cost. The funds will be used for memorial and funeral cost in Canada and back in Vietnam.
I will be planning my dad's funeral memorial in Vancouver and after he's cremated we will be burying him in Vietnam.
As Dam Minh Huu's please help me in bringing sending him properly to the heavens.
I love you Dad...I pray for you.
