Damion Dixon (Mark) Call for Help

My cousin Mark is a Son, Father, Husband, Friend.

Mark has suffered from a back condition that limits movement in most of his body and is in pain all day, every day. Mark only gets a few hours of relief from the medication he needs. Mark is a strong man, he has worked hard to support his family as the sole bread winner in his house. The last 4 years Mark 's condition has put such a strain on his beautiful family of 3 children aged 17, 15, and 13, not forgetting his wife who has been his main care giver. Erica is Mark's arms and legs. Erica carries Mark everywhere he needs to go, dresses, cooks, and and cleans Mark everyday. Erica also takes care of the children and has become had to take the role of decision maker and has practically raised the kids on her own. As women, we take on every role as needed to maintain the house hold. Erica mental strength matches Mark's physical and mental strength. They have come together with love, hope and perseverance.

Along with any kind of illness come the financial burden. Mark needs assistance to offset the cost of the expensive medication that only give him relief a few hours a day.

I have created this go fund me hoping that friends family and community will see this call for help and respond knowing that this will help ease some of the burden Mark will have to carry for the next few years.

Mark will be in some level of pain for a very long time and he desperately needs a hand.
