My name is Jessica David, Aunt/Godmother to Damien Caine Bolotte who unexpectedly passed, in his sleep, on 10/31/20 from SIDS at 6 months old.
This has been a devastating loss to his parents Christof Bolotte & Amanda Baverat, his two older sisters, Falyn (10yrs) & Oaklyn (18mos), as well as the rest of our family and friends who loved him so much.
Damien had a smile and a light that was felt by all who met him. A beautifully happy baby who was the best at making you forget about the stresses of daily life. For me, Damien made me feel things I had never felt before. I felt at peace when he was in my arms, just absolutely content and proud that I was fortunate enough to have him in my life.
Words cannot describe the pain that Christof and Amanda are going through. Mourning the sudden loss of their son has been an unimaginable task they never thought they would have to endure. My brother describes Damien as his rock, the baby who made all the rough days just disappear, and my sister Amanda describes him as her light and the happiest baby she's ever met. I know every morning is a battle for them, waking up hoping it was all just a bad dream.
Now we are rallying for help! Anything that can ease the strain of endless hurdles through this extremely difficult time for them. Real life still calls upon us. Planning a celebration of life for Sweet Damien, memorials, expenses, etc. If you're unable to donate at this time, all I ask is that you leave a comment of condolences below to show your support to these amazing parents. Knowing there is a village behind them can make all the difference.
Rest in Peace our Sweet Angel
