This is very hard for me to write. I have donated many times to friends who were going through financial or medical help  but I never thought I would be the one creating this page for a loved one. As many of you know on May 12th 2017 my brother Damian was involved in a horrific accident. He was on his way home from work in NYC waiting for the train, as part of his normal M-F routine for the past 20 years. While he was waiting he became queasy, fainted, and fell onto the 3rd rail. My brother was not only electrocuted, but also has a broken vertebrae, eye socket,  and many more injuries from the fall. The extent of his injuries were critical, even leading to the amputation of his left hand, loss of vision to his left eye and brain surgery to remove blood in the brain. We are EXTREMELY lucky and beyond GRATEFUL that Damian is still alive; however my brother's life will never be the same and it breaks my heart to know that life "as he knows it" is over and he has to find the strength to begin his new life journey.  For all that know Damian know he is a guy that loves his family and friends and he has an infectious smile and people just love to be around him.  He is as loyal as it gets.  The support he has received from family, friends, co-workers has been tremendous and it feeds my brother the strength he needs to heal. He loves you all and is forever grateful for your support. We can't thank you all enough for being there for Damian during this horrific tragedy. Thank you and please keep all of your prayers coming.
