Hi everyone, I am reaching out to ask for help on my sister's behalf. This past week her and her family received devastating news. My three year old nephew, Damian, was diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Thankfully, this form of leukemia has a very high survival rate. We know Damian will win this battle! 
During the fight my sister will be focusing solely on taking care of her son. Damians father will still be working, but since he works out of town he will likely need to miss many days to be present when his family needs him. 
After speaking with the oncologist today, they have learned more details about the journey that they are now on... After 9 months of intensive chemotherapy and weekly (at least) visits to the Oncologist, Damian will still have to continue maintenance Chemo for a total of three years. 
This type of illness is not one that anyone is ever prepared for, especially in their baby boy. 
By donating to this cause you are helping my sister and her family focus completely on their son's battle and recovery. 
All funds will be used to help with any bills that may come up during this journey. 
My sister would also like to ensure everyone that any extra money not needed during this time will be donated back to a Leukemia foundation of their choice when his battle has been won.
