It is with deepest sympathy and grief that we mourn the loss of DaMarkus Thomas, a beloved member of the Smoke& Barrel family. DaMarkus was kind, funny, thoughtful, and an all-around stellar man. His infectious smile could light up any room, and he had a knack for making people want to be around him.
No shift was ever safe from DaMarkus. He would always joke that everyone had a shift he wanted, and he was coming for it! We are going to miss his passion (and endless stream of enthusiastic questions) so much. He had an ever-present joy that is a rare quality and will forever be his legacy.
