Last night my dad needed to be put on a ventilator. It all started on 10/10/20 when we took him to urgent care and he came back testing positive for COVID19. We thought it was his annual cough due to the change in weather. After normal family visitation to check up on him we all began to get sick started with our mom, sister Brandy her family, myself ( Elizabeth) and son, my brother Damacio and his wife Stephanie. We found that my dad needed oxygen and quickly took him to urgent care and quickly was hospitalized not long after. We all recovered but my dad and my sister brandy became very ill. Everyday my dad would say, "I am getting stronger, I am getting better" I will be home soon. We would continuously check up on him with his nurse thought he was getting better, then he took a turn for the worst on 10/24/20 at around 6:00 PM. He was fighting too hard. He wanted to get out of that hospital. He said and I quote "I NEED TO PAY MY BILLS". Also apologizing to all of his kids and grand kids because he felt that we all got sick because of him.
Guys we are believing in a miracle. We firmly believe God is taking good care of my dad and will help him prosper through this tough trial. We are believing that he will walk out of that hospital. Right now my dad is resting and unconscious receiving the treatments his body needs to get well. He couldn't get well and be worrying for what he needs to do out here. It was decided to do this so he can relax and allow the treatment to do what it needs to do.
So now we reach out to our family and friends asking for your help in this time of need. We as a family want him to come home not needing to worry about his bills. And even more, any hospital bills that will come as well. He is a great man of God. He was a great teacher and a man with a BIG heart. Always seeking for ways to help anyone and everyone.
We ask you to please join us in praying for his recovery. My family and I created this go fund me so he does not have to worry when he gets home and so my mom can also just focus on staying positive for her husband. My dad has always taken care of everything and everyone, now we want to take care of him.
