My oldest daughter Dalneigh (Dalz) is a strong, caring person, a wonderful mother to her 8 year old son and loving teacher to all her students. No words can explain just how proud we are of her. Recently Dalz said "yes" to Bradley and with wedding plans afoot, their little family was well on it's way to love, life and happiness.
Sadly, on Saturday evening, 8 June, Dalz and Bradley were on their way to a family dinner when a drunk motorist swerved into their lane resulting in a head on collision with their car. Bradley suffered cuts to his head and Dalz broke both femurs (thigh bones). We thank the Lord that her son was not in the car.
Dalz spent a few days in ICU and had urgent surgery to have metal plates inserted into her legs and we're hopeful that she'll make a full recovery.
We are looking for help to raise money towards her medical bills of USD 8300 (£6600) of which her Medical Aid has only covered USD 300 (£239). The financial situation in Zimbabwe where Dalz lives is in shambles, although most things are charged for in USD, salaries are not paid in USD making it impossible for them to raise this money and survive their everyday expenses.
We appreciate any help we can get, no matter how small. Thank you
