As many of you know, Dalyn has been living with back issues for a number of years now.

It has now got to the point where a surgery is required for him to be able to do normal day to day things that the rest of us all take for granted.

Many avenues have been sourced, and unfortunately in Canada he has not been eligible for this same type of surgery. So this has therefore led them to Germany which is one of the top leading surgical programs in the world that specializes in spine surgery.

The surgery itself is 2 discectomy’s with a possibility of the implantation of an inter-verbal cage. The recovery time is between 4-6 months.

The surgery itself will cost them $75,000. This cost includes Dalyn’s surgery, meals, hospital stay, and rehabilitation. On top of the surgery cost itself they will have to also pay for flights, hotel & meals for Shan, as well as the 4-6 months recovery time once they are back home.

We’re hoping with the help of friends and family that we can relieve some of the financial burden that comes with this surgery.

If you know Shan and Day, you know they’re the good ones. They’re the friends that drop what they’re doing to help you, even when their plates are full. They never ask for anything and they never expect anything in return.

This is a perfect opportunity to give back to them and allow them a bit of financial relief and cushion to fall on while they navigate Dalyn’s recovery, and being off work for 4+ months while still raising their 2 little girls.
