Dalton’s Surgery Stay

As many of you know dalton has cerebral palsy which has caused him and his family some difficulty through this 2 short years. Great news this week as dalton was named a good candidate for very intense spinal surgery at U of M which would help him gain better function in his body and give him a better quality of life dealing with his cerebral palsy . Thankfully the surgery itself is something the insurance should cover , the arraignments for his family are not. Following the surgery dalton will be required to stay in Ann Arbor with his family for a month so dalton can receive intensive therapy to ensure his surgery is a complete success . Since daltons family will have to remain with him in Ann Arbor for a month they have to rent out a hotel / air bnb to stay in as housing isn’t provided for this surgery . They are a one income household and Cody will be taking time off to be with dalton during this time. The money raised is going to be used to rent a space for the Briggs family to stay which is around $1500 for the month, and the other money will be used for food, gas, and other needs  needed during this stressful time.
