Dalton Slunecka long term recovery from accident
Donation protected
Our family is asking for help on behalf of Dalton. I am Dalton’s oldest sister, Amber.
On 11/14/23 Dalton was in a severe automobile accident which has left him severely debilitated. He broke several bones (neck, back, shoulder, nose, finger and collarbone) including his neck and back in multiple places. His neck/spine injury required surgery and has a long recovery window that will leave him unable to work for an unknown amount of time. Has stitches on his legs from cuts from debris. He will likely be facing 1-2 additional surgeries in the near future. He was trapped/nearly submerged in his vehicle for 6 hours after swerving to miss a deer on his way home from work, rolling his vehicle and landing in a creek.

11/16-Update: Got his back brace on today. Currently trying for feeding tube due to neck swelling, risk of pneumonia. Waiting for more information regarding possible future surgery.
11/17-Surgical feeding tube was unsuccessful due to swelling in his nose/neck.
Slowly starting some PT, short distance walks with a walker, nursing assist.
11/18-11/19, getting IV nourishment, celebrating small wins today.
11/20-11/21, getting some PT and finally some liquid foods—passed the swallow test so that is great news
Currently. Getting stronger everyday. Waiting to be able to move to long term rehab facility.
Please help us help him with medical bills and everyday expenses while he recovers from his injuries.
No donation is too small and everything helps! Thank you in advance for your consideration in helping him recover without extra financial strain.
