July 12, 2021 My younger brother Dalton took his own life. My name is Kaylynn, I am Dalton's older and only sister. It breaks my heart to inform the world of my brothers passing. D was a good kid. His heart was as big as his stubbornness. He worked harder then every one of us. This kid put his all into everything he did. Always gave it the best he could. Dalton was on the rise, which is why this comes as a shock. His passing was sudden and has broken my family beyond belief. He has 4 other brothers that he absolutely loved. His younger brother Hunter has taken this the hardest. What we would give to have our brother, son, and friend back. Growing up Dalton was always talking about helping people. When he was about five or six he has this idea where he would take a buffet and make it into a place where everyone can eat as much as they want for free. He wanted to live in a better world. He believed in his heart, What you put into this world you get back twice rewarded. He woke up every day determined to make it a good day. He had the most beautiful outlook on life. He had a sort of caretaker persona. Dalton was the one to put others above himself. Trying to make people laugh with his corny jokes. He was a complete goof. D loved to mess around. Between cracking jokes on people to singing with his girlfriend Elexus. D was always trying to make people smile. Dalton was also extremely competitive. The last game we all played was Risk. His first words as we started the game were "You're going down sis. Look at you with your three little countries." Fun fact, Dalton was the first one to lose haha. Always the first to talk the shit, and always the first to get stuck by Karma. Every time he would talk shit, he would lose. Every time.
D was so unbelievably smart. From a young age we knew Dalton was going to be successful in whatever he decided to do. He picked things up very fast and did well with whatever he was thrown his way. D never backed down from a challenge. Even if he knew he couldn't handle it, he would do everything in his power to make it happen. He always had the backs of his friends and family. Never gave up on a single person.
I am trying to help my parents in any way I can. My parents are beside themselves. What parent wouldn't be. They are going through what no parent, or family, should go through. I am setting this Go Fund Me up for them to help them with the funeral costs. I know my brother touched a whole lot of lives. Dalton was my baby brother. I miss him every second of every day. I know I am hurting and can't even fathom what my parents must feel. We as a family want to thank every person who has been in Dalton's life. Those who were there for him. Those who fought for him. Those who showed my brother love. We just want everyone to know that he loved all of you. He loved all of us. We as a family really appreciate all the support yall have shown us.
From my family to you, Thank You!
