In Loving Memory of Dalton Reilly Williams

We are heartbroken to share the passing of Dalton Reilly Williams, a beautiful soul who meant so much to so many. He was a son, a father, a brother, an uncle, and a true friend to countless people across his life. Dalton wasn’t just loved, he was deeply cherished.

Dalton lost his battle with mental health, leaving behind a wave of grief that’s impossible to put into words. But in the middle of this pain, we want to do what Dalton always did, bring people together. This page is a place for all who knew him, loved him, laughed with him, and walked through life with him, to come together and honour his memory.

A Life That Meant So Much

Dalton had a fire in his spirit and a gentleness in his heart. He had that rare gift of making everyone around him feel like they mattered. Whether you met him as a kid skating through the streets, shared stories at football, or crossed paths later in life, you didn’t forget Dalton. You felt him.

He was the kind of man who would stand beside you when it counted, who would carry your weight as if it were his own. And as much as he was strong for others, there was also a quiet vulnerability beneath the surface, one he didn’t always show, but one that many of us now understand more deeply.

He had an amazing smile and a unique, infectious laugh that could light up any room. The kind of laugh you didn’t just hear, but felt, the kind that stayed with you long after he’d gone.

Above all, Dalton was a devoted father to Reilly, his young son and his greatest joy. There was nothing more important to him. Every decision, every moment of growth, every step forward was always with Reilly in mind.

In recent years, Dalton found peace in long walks and running. He was becoming a true endurance athlete, pushing himself, finding clarity, and creating his own kind of calm in movement. Looking back, it was his way of coping, of healing, of finding stillness when life felt too loud. His time outside wasn’t just exercise, it was therapy. His escape. His strength.

Why We’ve Set Up This Page

We want to give Dalton the goodbye he deserves, surrounded by love, remembered with honour, and celebrated for the light he brought into our lives.

The funds raised here will go directly to Dalton’s mum, to help cover funeral costs and ensure he is laid to rest with dignity and love.

Any remaining donations will be placed into a trust fund for Reilly, to help give him the kind of future Dalton would have wanted for his son, one filled with support, care, and the knowledge that his dad was deeply loved by many. Not only that the Trust shall help to publicise the mental health pandemic we have in the UK today, One single life saved is a victory!

Let’s Honour Him Together

Dalton’s life touched more people than we can count, from childhood friends to teammates, from fellow Blades fans to neighbours and colleagues. He was unforgettable. And now, as we face a world without him in it, we want to show his family, and especially Reilly, just how deeply he mattered.

Please help us celebrate him. Help us carry him forward through our love, our memories, and our unity.

Every donation, every message, and every share means the world.

Rest easy, Dalton. You were loved more than you knew. Your legacy lives on, in Reilly, in us, and in every soul you lit up along the way.
